Manifesting your dreams into reality Law of Attraction based Goal setting for students

Manifesting your dreams and following the law of attraction can make you happier: Being a student myself, I know that there is always something we hope for. Might it be to at least barely pass the exam, getting into a team with your best friends, or simply jinxing the professor to end the lecture early (or better he doesn’t hold it at all!). The more surprised we are when he actually calls in sick and the class is postponed to another day.

But is it coincidental? Or a little help from the universe? Are there still witch genes left in our blood that caused our professor to wake up sneezing and coughing? Why are some situations or things popping into our lives just when we need them, while other things we are hoping for never appear at all?

You most likely shake your head about the witch part right now, but many believe in the law of attraction and its supporting power that helps you manifest your dreams and goals into your life. A very explanatory answer on why certain things find us just at the right moments.

What is the Law of Attraction and How does the Law of Attraction work?

The law of attraction is all about attracting things into our life by focusing and acting upon them. It is the belief that we can manifest our wishes and goals and the universe will bring them closer to us. Nevertheless, it is to mention, that it is much more than material things or small daily activities like the missing professor. It is a strong belief, implemented into our everyday lifestyle.

The law of attraction mindset is not only based on positivity but also invites negative situations into our lives if we aren’t careful.  If you treat someone coldly they will treat you coldly as well. If you are friendly and supportive to them, they will be nice and supportive too. Or how Amy says: “Positive thoughts attract positive energy. Negative thoughts attract negative energy”

If you want to manifest good things into your life, you need to be good in return. Treat the people around you with respect, help out when needed, and offer advice when it is asked for. Stop worrying too much as it also focuses on the negative side of life and avoid complaining. Treat yourself right and practice positive affirmations every day. Also, look at your goals daily, visualize them and spend a moment to imagine how your life will change once they become reality.

“Only concentrate on what you want and not what you don’t want” – Jack Canfield.

What are the 3 Laws of Attraction?

There are three laws of attraction, which according to lifecoach are “Like attracts Like”, “Nature Abhors a Vacuum” and  “The Present is Always Perfect”. While the first and third laws are almost self-explanatory, I struggled to understand the second law of attraction at first. Yet it is simply explained as: If we declutter our lives we have more space to invite new things in. If you clean a spot in your wardrobe you have a place for new clothes. If you have no place you might not even buy clothes as you have no idea where to put them.

“Like attracts Likes” on the other hand explains what kind of something you invite in your life. If you are hard-working and always be organized and up to date, you most likely will attract people into your life who are as organized and hard working.

The Present is Always Perfect: Even though it might not always seem like it. You can always make the best out of each situation. Learn from it and improve. Stay positive.

How to use the law of attraction to get what you want? Manifesting your dreams by goal setting:

Set a manifestation goal:

You probably wonder how to write goals for manifestations, but don’t worry its not that hard. See this post on how you create smart goals instead of normal ones: They are much more accountable and easier to follow.

How do you write goals in law of attraction?

Think about what you really want in life. Not some superficial things like being liked by others or getting rich and famous. What makes you happy? What makes you proud to be? You can concentrate on different groups of goals or focus on general goals instead. Groups would be family goals, social goals, financial goals, health goals, etc. We created a post for each and everyone but if you are still unsure where to start click here:  This post will help you set all the goals you want to manifest into your life.

How do I apply the Law of Attraction? (For Beginners)

Manifest your goals in everyday life. Make it a presence of you. Energy floating around you. You can meditate when you wake up or have a journal where you note down your goals once a day.

You can whisper a quick prayer of gratitude every morning, or go through your vision board before heading to bed. You can imagine how life will be once you manifest your goals and follow the actions you would do from that moment onwards.

If your goal is to be a blogger then write on a post for 30minutes a day. If you want to be a lawyer then read and remember one paragraph each day. Small simple tasks that bring you closer spiritually and physically to your goals. The universe will support you as long as you show in which direction you want to go

Manifesting your Dreams:

  1. Meditation –  A perfect time to think and think about your future self. Imagine how you will live once you are who you want to be.
  2. Visualization Board – Already mentioned in goal setting, a visualization board is perfect to connect with your goals on a daily basis. Hang it where it is visible.
  3. Put in the work – if you want to achieve great things you need to act accordingly. Want to be an artist? Work daily on your drawing skills. Want to sell cute stickers? Create, Print, Cut, and send them out. A 9-to 5 is no excuse.
  4. Watch movies or read books where the main actor has something in common with your goals.
  5. Write down everything you want to attract before starting your day.
  6. Buy a journal and decorate it with pictures and stickers (relating to what you want to manifest)
  7. Surround yourself with people who are supporting or want to attract similar things in life.
  8. Build positive relationships.

Why is goal setting and law of attraction based goal setting different?

For the law of attraction-based goal setting, you put emotion, energy into your goals. By implementing small thoughts and actions into your life you keep this energy all around you, telling the universe in which direction you will go. Many people don’t believe in the law of attraction and thereby state their goals without emotions. They make it less based on the universe and more based on their own hard work and action-taking.

Never forget, every person has their own opinion in life and they are not less worth when they don’t have the same beliefs as you do. Everyone is great in their own way.

  1. Learning about the Law of Attraction changed my life!! It started off by reading the secret and then watching YouTube videos, and I’m now manifesting so many things into my life!! I’m in the middle of Think and Grow Rich right now and I’m loving it. I’m still working on surrounding myself with the right people and meditating more, but I’ve noticed such a huge difference in my life compared to before.

Such a great post, as always 😊
